Are you accredited?

We are not — but all of our partner Program Schools, where your credits are issued from, are. Accredited means an outside group checked the school and agreed its credits are real. So your credit comes from a checked, real school, and it goes on a formal transcript.

Who accredits your Program Schools?

An organization called Cognia. Every Program School we partner with is Cognia accredited at a base level. Cognia checking them is the reason they are allowed to give out credit — and the reason your own school takes that credit seriously.

So what exactly is RecoverCredits.com?

We are the company that makes and teaches the class. Our Program Schools bring us in for instructional delivery and authorize our teachers: we write the lessons and the tests, we put a real teacher of record in every class, we sign you up, we take payment, and we stand behind the guarantee. We do not give out credits — a real, accredited school does that part, and it goes on your record under their name.

Is there a real teacher, or is it all automated?

Both, and there is always a real teacher. Practice and quizzes are auto-graded so you get feedback immediately. Beyond that, every class has a teacher of record — a real person who grades your written and open-ended work, answers your questions, and signs off on the credit you earn.

Will my credits actually transfer?

That is the whole promise. Once you enroll, we contact your school to confirm they will accept the credit. If they won’t, you are refunded automatically — you don’t have to ask.

Does my own school have to do anything?

Almost nothing. Your school does not teach the class, does not provide the teacher and does not run any of it — our Program Schools authorize our teachers and award the credit. All your school has to do is accept the credit at the end, and we are the ones who ask them, before you have paid for the whole thing.

How much does it cost?

Every course is $99 per month. That includes one exam attempt each month. If you need more than one attempt in a month, additional attempts are $50 each.

How is billing handled, and can we cancel?

It is a monthly charge of $99, not an upfront lump sum, and you can cancel once the course is finished. Because it is self-paced and billed monthly, taking longer costs no more than the months you actually use.

How are exams proctored?

Final exams are digitally proctored, so there is no testing centre to book and no session for a school to supervise. Each monthly enrollment includes one exam attempt; additional attempts within the same month are $50 each.

What happens if I fail an exam?

Who issues my transcript?

Your credits are awarded by accredited Program Schools, and those schools authorize us to produce the transcript on their behalf — so it is fully formal through the issuing school. If your credits come from more than one Program School, we roll them up into a single transcript, and each credit still shows which school issued it. You can send it directly from our platform — always free — and every issuing school keeps its own long-term copy.

Does it cost anything to send a transcript?

No. Transcripts are 100% free, always. There is no charge for the first one, no charge per send, and no limit on how many times you request one. If you need it sent to three schools, that is free too.

How long does a course take?

Courses are self-paced, so it depends on you. Most credit recovery courses are 0.5 credits, and the monthly structure means you can move as quickly as you are ready to sit the exam.

When can a student start?

Any day of the year. There are no semester start dates and no cohorts, so a student can begin the day they enroll and work at their own pace.

Can I enroll if my school hasn’t approved it yet?

Yes. That is exactly what the guarantee is for — you enroll, we do the asking, and you are refunded automatically if the answer is no.

How do I track a student’s progress?

Through our counselor dashboard, which we built in house for real-time progress updates. Counselors sign up using their Edvizion ID, and coursework, exam results and transcript delivery are all visible as they happen.

What if we will not accept the credit?

We ask before the student has paid for the whole course. Once they enroll, we contact your school or district to confirm in writing that the credit will be accepted — and if it will not be, the student is refunded automatically, without filing anything.

Is there paperwork or a referral form for our office?

No. Send the student the course link and we handle the rest — enrollment, the transfer confirmation with your school, and transcript delivery. There is no referral form to complete and no onboarding call to schedule.
